The pink is not the only one that shines…beautiful soft white with gently falling petals. Peach and green middles with a splash of sunlight.

Wide boulevards, gas lanterns, and the American flag. Tall pillars and green shrubs. Blue skies. Springtime in New England on one of Boston’s most elegant avenues.

So there you have our little trip down Commonwealth Ave. This is just the tip of the iceberg. All of the Avenues are in bloom right now. Just park your car and make sure you have good walking shoes and spend a few hours with the trees. You will leave feeling so much better than when you arrive surround by all these soft pinks, tall windows, happy people, sunshine, and multiple colors of spring. I hope wherever you are you are also finding some rich colors and knobby wood after a long dark winter. Spring is in the air, get out there and enjoy it. It passes quickly.

Spring is the time of year when it is summer in the sun and winter in the shade. Charles Dickens

“Have you ever looked at the bud of a magnolia flower? It’s a tight little pod that stays closed up for a long time on the end of its branch until one day, out of nowhere, it finally bursts open into this gigantic, gorgeous, fragrant flower that’s ten times bigger than the bud itself. It’s impossible to imagine that such a big beautiful thing could pop out of that tiny little bud. But it does.”
